ArcWeb Services 2006
(via Spatially Adjusted): ESRI hat wie angekündigt seine ArcWeb Services überarbeitet und in der Version 2006 herausgebracht. Neben SOAP wird nun z.B. auch REST unterstützt, als Outputformate stehen nun neben JPG und PNG auch SVG und SWF (Flash) zur Verfügung. Der im Vorfeld etwas voreilig als Google Earth-Killer verschrieene ArcWeb Explorer ist im Moment noch nicht verfügbar (coming soon).
